We'd like to invite you to join us at I Annotate 2016, May 19–20th in Berlin, Germany. We’re excited to host the fourth annual I Annotate conference and our very first in Europe!
This year's event will take place in the Microsoft Atrium, Berlin. Located at Unter den Linden 17, at the corner of Charlottenstraße, the historic building is one of the few well-preserved houses in Berlin Mitte from the previous turn of the century. The venue is centrally located and is easily accessible by public transport. Food will be provided for all attendees on both days.
You can find the agenda for this year’s conference here and a summary of abstracts here. For questions email info@iannotate.org
You can also find out more about the upcoming conference panels: On Consent and Abuse in Annotation Systems, Annotating Investigative Journalism, and Annotation in the Education Space.
This year's event is supported by Hypothes.is, W3C Germany/Austria, and Deutsche Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz gGmbH (DFKI).
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Microsoft Berlin for their generous sponsorship of this year’s venue.
We would also like to thank Deutsche Telekom and SpringerNature for their sponsorship.
If you've got an annotation project—no matter what technology you're using—we'd love to have you join us on Saturday, May 21st at Wikimedia Deutschland for a hack day.
